CCS have been contracted by Microsoft to digitize 100,000 19th century books at the British Library. We are extremely satisfied with the approach, implementation and delivery of this project by CCS. The BL has no hesitation in recommending them for similar work at other institutions/organisations.

After evaluating the primary global leaders in document digitization and indexing, we found that CCS provided the greatest set of software tools matching our specific needs, but more importantly brought a level of customer service and training that was not as obvious from the other vendors.
I’m proud to report that in the last month we have been using the CCS newsWORKS application exclusively to prepare clippings for our clients. We’ve found a partner in this process who has helped us achieve our goals.
Thanks to the CCS team. Your attention to detail and support has gotten us to where we are in this process.

We wanted to bring our press cutting service into the next century and wanted to offer our clients a more technology driven service in order to expand client base and secure the existing client base.
Regarding to efficiency, delivery time lines and end user service capabilities CCS‘s solution was the most convincing service presentation and it suited our needs best. We increased the quality of our service dramatically. The costs remained stable, but it allowed us to expand our client base significantly. It increased press turnover by 400% in 2 years.

CCS enables DDD to provide a higher quality of service, at a lower cost, with an incredibly powerful and flexible technolgy platform. Our work together has proven the value of docWorks and the commitment of CCS‘s staff to both our business and social mission. We‘re thrilled to be scaling up our use of docWorks with the installation and training in our Cambodian operations center.

Over the past 3 years docWorks has enabled my clients to grow their historic newspaper digitisation business more than 10-fold to a current capacity of 600,000 pages per month. CCS executives and staff have been extraordinarly helpful during this period of rapid growth. We see only great benefit to both companies in our continuing collaboration.

The CBSR has been digitizing historical California newspapers since 2005. We have used Content Conversion Specialists’ docWORKS software exclusively to create our data and used DL Consulting’s Veridian software to host it. For us, one of the benefits of the collaboration between CCS and DL Consulting is that our data ingests smoothly and indexes and displays properly. And of course it is reassuring to know that other large newspaper digitization projects, like the New Zealand National Library and Singapore National Library Board, also use docWorks for conversion and Veridian for hosting and access.

“ProQuest has used the German firm CCS, Hamburg, as subcontractor with respect to the concrete digitization process and flow. I’m glad to say that we have developed the best possible cooperation with this very effective firm, which has done the job at the highest possible professional quality level in house at the Royal Library.”
